Local Data Storage Daily Giraffe utilizes local device storage (specifically, Apple’s UserDefaults and App Groups) solely to facilitate core app functionality.

Favorites: When you “favorite” a drawing, that preference is saved locally on your device.

Widget Syncing: This local data is securely shared between the main app and the Home Screen widget to display your favorited status.

This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties. If you delete the app, this local preference data is automatically deleted by iOS.
